Aluminium Electric Gates

Aluminium gate leaves are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and compatible with both swing and sliding motor configurations. A full opening and closing cycle test is carried out on site, and the powder-coated finish is confirmed before handover to avoid any touch-up work later.

Automated Sliding Gates

A sliding gate motor, rail system, photocells, and control panel are fitted and commissioned as a complete package. Existing steel or aluminium gates are assessed for weight and run-back space before any hardware is specified, so the motor is always correctly matched.

Automated Swing Gates

Each actuator arm is sized to the leaf weight and swing arc available on site. Single and double-leaf configurations are both covered, with push-to-open or pull-to-open orientation confirmed during the pre-installation check before any hardware is ordered.

Bespoke Gate Design & Manufacture

Every gate is made to the measurements taken on site, so hinge specification, clearance, and motor compatibility are resolved during design rather than on installation day. Powder-coated steel and aluminium fabrication are both available, with the automation fixing points integrated into the frame before delivery.

Cantilever Gate Systems

A cantilever gate travels on support rollers fixed to posts, with a counterbalance beam extending behind the opening. There is no ground track to block, frost-heave, or fill with debris, making it a practical choice where the ground surface is uneven, sloped, or subject to seasonal movement.

Electric Gate Installation

Every installation is scoped from site survey through to final safety test, covering gate motor, control panel, safety sensors, and BS 7671 wiring. Post foundations are sized for Brentwood’s clay soil from the outset, not adjusted on the day.

Electric Gate Repair & Emergency Callouts

The attending engineer runs a structured diagnosis: power supply check, safety sensor test, control board fault read, and manual release inspection. BS EN 12453 compliance is confirmed after any repair, and a gate stuck open is temporarily secured before the fault is traced.

Gate Automation Retrofitting

Retrofitting adds a gate motor, control box, safety sensors, and remote handsets to a gate that is already in place. The assessment confirms whether the existing structure, hinges, posts, alignment, and gate weight, can support automation without repair work first, so there are no surprises on installation day.

Preventative Maintenance & Servicing

A full service visit works through every moving and electrical component: motor inspection, photocell and safety edge testing, auto-reverse force limit check to BS EN 12453, battery backup test, hinge and roller lubrication, track alignment, and access control device check. A written record of the visit is provided.

Smart Access Control & Intercoms

The access control layer is specified after checking gate controller compatibility, wiring route, power supply, and the distance from the intercom unit to the motor. Audio-only, video, keypad, and remote fob options are all available and can be combined on a single control panel.

Wooden & Timber Electric Gates

Timber gate weight varies significantly between species and construction, so motor load matching is confirmed during the site assessment, not assumed from gate dimensions alone. Post condition, hinge alignment, and swing path are all checked before automation hardware is specified.

Wrought Iron & Metal Gates

Gates are fabricated from mild steel with electro-galvanising and powder coating for rust resistance, not traditional forged iron. Sizing is taken from the actual opening width, so hinge posts, ground clearance, and latch alignment are all confirmed before fabrication begins.
