  • Do you install gates yourselves?

    No. Brentwood Electric Gates is a service brand. We take your enquiry, specify the job to DHF and Gate Safe standards, and schedule the survey and installation. On-site work is a separate step from the enquiry we handle.

  • What standards do the installations meet?

    Every installation is specified to Gate Safe standards. Safety edges and photocells are specified to DHF standards and BS EN 12453 compliance. Force testing is included in the specification, not left to the installer’s discretion.

  • Why does the gate type need a site survey?

    Swing, sliding, and cantilever gates each require different post foundations, operator types, and clearance. Brentwood’s clay soil also affects foundation depth. Recommending a gate type without a survey risks a gate that drops, binds, or fails force-testing requirements.

  • What happens if I delay getting a survey?
